How to Shrink on Minecraft

Have you seen YouTube videos where Minecrafters shrink to the size of an ant? It happens. Some YouTubers use mods, but there are other ways to do it as well. Look no further if you want an easy way to get smaller without cluttering your device with mods and add-ons.

Before Shrinking

Mark off a straight horseshoe shape with any wood planks. Don't make it too small. A four by five is a great size choice.

Fill in the top with slabs. There should be space under the slabs. You can make a design if you want, but keep it wooden.

Place a boat under the slab roof. If a minecart fits on your version then use a minecart instead of a boat.^{[1]

Move away from the edge you got in from. This will be slower than moving on water.

It doesn't have to be wood. Most people have wooden slabs more readily available to them than quartz or stone slabs, so the article was most likely intended to make things easier.
