ащемс
Moksha
Etymology
Believed to be cognate with Finnish asema, Estonian ase; asuma (“place; to be located”), Komi-Zyrian ӧз-, ӧзын (öz-, özyn, “berth; pier, dock (for parking boats)”), Northern Sami [Term?] (е̄сскэ, “to stop over, settle (temporarily)”), Tundra Nenets [script needed] (ŋäeso-, “to stop and set up a chum (~ tipi)”).[1]
