Do you remember the popular StarCraft term "Zerg rush"? In honor of the strategy game, Google created a web game where you need to destroy a swarm of O's from attacking the search results on the page. While this works best on desktop computers, you can still access this website on your mobile device (though it will be buggy). This wikiHow will show you how to play the Zerg Rush game on Google using your computer, iPhone, or Android.
Things You Should Know
- For best experience, play Zerg Rush on a desktop browser. Mobile browsers will be buggy.
- Open https://www.google.com/ and enter "zerg rush" in the search. Click "I'm Feeling Lucky".
- Click the swarming O's to destroy them.
Steps
-
1Open https://www.google.com/ in a web browser. You can use Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or another browser.
- If you're using a mobile browser, you may experience some bugs. For the best experience, use a desktop browser on a computer.
-
2Type in zerg rush into the search field. Make sure to avoid any typos.Advertisement
-
3Click I'm Feeling Lucky. This will launch the top search in the results page, which is the easter egg.
- Alternatively, you can click Google Search (desktop) or Go (mobile). Click or tap the first search result, which should be: https://elgoog.im/zergrush/.[1]
-
4Click all the O's to destroy them. O's will begin to swarm on the page and attack the search results. It takes about 3 clicks on each O to destroy it.
- Make sure to scroll down; the O's will come from all directions!
-
5Share the game (optional). The game will end when the O's have completely destroyed all the search results on the page. You'll see them form a "GG" (Good Game) in the center of the page. Currently, there's no way to win against the "Zergs", but you can see how many O's you destroyed in the Count box.
- To share the game: tap the + on the left to open all sharing options. Click an option to be redirected to the platform.
- There are other Google easter eggs you can find, such as Google gravity. You can also do a barrel roll!
