How to Send a Photo Privately on Twitter

You can send any picture to a specific user on Twitter with the Direct Message function. This will be private, rather than being posted publicly on your Twitter feed.

Steps

Log in to your Twitter account. Open www.twitter.com in a web browser and log in to your account.

Click on the Messages from the top bar to open the Direct Messages tab.

Click on the New Message button.

Type your recipient. In the Send message to box, enter the name or @username of the people you wish to send a message to and click on the Next button.

Click on the photo button and select a photo from your computer. You can also use videos.

Click on the Send button to send it. You can also add text with the photo.

Done. You can see the image preview right there. If you want to delete it, click on the trash icon from the right side of the picture. Finished!

It's legal to send explicit photos via Twitter DMs, as long as both parties are over 18. However, it's never a good idea as your photo is no longer under your control.

No, unless you count emojis as pictures, this is not possible. You can only send 1 photo at a time, so to share multiple photos, you'd need to send more messages.
