Avoine, Orne

Avoine (French pronunciation: [avwan] ) is a commune in the Orne department in northwestern France. The population of Avoine as of 2016 was 239.[3] Its total area is 9.43 square kilometres (3.64 sq mi).[4]

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Le Breuil,La Villette, Le Montpertuis and Avoine.[5]

It is 940 hectares (3.6 sq mi) in size. The highest point in the commune is 183 metres (600 ft).[6]

The River Cance and the Poncey stream traverse through the commune.[6]
