Prednicarbate, sold under the brand name Dermatop among others, is a corticosteroid that is used to treat skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and allergic contact dermatitis.[1] It is applied to the skin.[1]
Common side effects include burning, irritation, thinning of the skin, acne, loss of pigmentation, striae, and telangiectasia.[1] Other side effects may include skin infection, allergic reactions, and Cushing's syndrome.[1] It is considered to be a medium strength steroid.[1]
Prednicarbate was approved for medical use in the United States in 1991.[1] It is available as a generic medication.[2] A 60 gram tube in the United States costs about 34 USD as of 2021.[2]

It is applied to the affected area twice per day at a 0.1% strength.[1]
